Classics for Kids- Note Reading
If you’ve ever wanted to get faster at reading music (and who doesn’t?), then the Classics for Kids- Note names is for you! Designed to reinforce note-naming, this computer game is a fun way for beginning–intermediate students to get repetitive practice. This game can be tailored for both treble clef and bass clef (Low Brass).
Taylor's Music Store and Studios
Taylor's Music provides high quality student instrument rentals and on-site repairs. In addition, Taylor's offers on-line ordering for items like reeds, mouthpieces, cleaning kits and more. All items ordered on-line can be delivered to CCS at no charge.
Performing Groups
Chester County Youth Wind Ensemble
The ChescoYWE is an ensemble open to woodwind, brass, and percussion players in grades 6-8, residing in or around Chester County, Pennsylvania. The purpose of this ensemble is to provide playing and performance opportunities to students outside of their regular school ensembles. West Chester Band
The West Chester Band is an all volunteer Community Concert Band, performing in and around the West Chester, Pennsylvania area since 1986. The band has earned a fine reputation for performing a variety of audience pleasing music. Classics, jazz, marches and contemporary arrangements are all part of our growing repertoire. Immaculata Symphony
The Immaculata Symphony is an outstanding musical organization with a long and rich history. From the earliest days of the university's founding in 1920, the department of music has included among its performing groups an orchestra which, over the years, has grown steadily from a fledgling group of chamber size to the large and highly respected symphonic ensemble it is today.
